EPA-to-outlaw-many-wood-burning-stoves

I don’t want to think about what stupidity is coming next!

Now we have 1 more thing to worry about then coming and checking

  1. I saw this a couple of weeks about and was baffled by the sheer stupidity of it.

  2. It is in play up here in Washington State. The only way you can use your wood burning stove is if it is the ONLY source of heat. My mother could not afford to run her electric heaters so we drug her heavy buffet over one wall heater and her bookcase over the other. Disconnected both. That way if the gestapo ever checked up on the smoke spiraling from her chimney, they would not find any other source in her home. I shake my head every day at the stupidity coming down the pike on a regular basis.

  4. There are big businesses out in the world causing problems/pollution with the air, these are things that need to be looked at, not wood burning stoves!

    1. Jullian, I think you'd be supprised how many do use wood heat. Especially in the north where the temps really drop
