Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It's learning to look past life's imperfections

Invasion into the country that is Laundry

Wow, what a great weekend! Weather wise it was our first true summer days, over 90! I made a major invasion into the country of Laundry, got it broken up into small villages and decimated them as I worked my way through the continent.
With the weather so nice I rigged a clothesline on the back deck & things were dry before the next load was ready to hang.
I would LOVE a real a clothesline, there is nothing like the smell of wind & sun dried sheets......OK, I have to stop thinking of that or I will crawl back in bed. With almost 2 acres I should be able to find space for one...you would think.....
Ever hung damp clothes (whites) under trees? You end up with little black stain spots..... from the tree poop.
Who knew trees poop. Loosing so may trees this past fall from the wind storm I thought, oooh, now we have clear spots!
Ahem, no.
Whats that I hear? The country of laundry calling in re-enforcements ...
better go head them off at the stairs!
Have a good Monday!

Test Knits and Wash Cloths

I know, I know, I’m stuck on dish & wash cloths but these have been so fun!
Some were test knits for Lisa Milan of DigKnitty designs.
So far I have all Grandsons & boy patterns are hard to find but, Lisa is LOADED with them. Well, She’s loaded with patterns to fit any taste!
Here are the newest that will be posted in my stores soon;

Scooter in Medium Blue
100% cotton
Red Dino, In the TUB?
100% Cotton

Olive Green Monster Truck to scrub away outdoor play!
100% Cotton

Yellow Go Cart, racing you to the tub!
100% Cotton

Set Sail in the bubbles!
Med Blue, 100% Cotton

Why do I love these was cloths so much? They are easy to launder, soft enough for babies & adults. You choose the color and pattern to meet your wants and needs! They also fill that instant gratification fix.
And every once in a while Lisa posts a free one!

I think I need a Wife!

I think I need a wife! Someone to keep me organized. My Dust Bunnies & laundry are taking over. Plants and flower’s need planted and re potted. I’ve been ignoring my house to knit, I don’t think its ever been this messy, even when all my kids were still at home.
I have been digging thru my stash and its now spread all over the house.

My goal this month has been to have all working projects completed. I’m making progress but running out of time.

There are 4 sweaters waiting for buttons, 2 jumper or sundresses still waiting on embroidery or buttons. I hate sewing on buttons, they have been sitting there for over a week . Today I will bite the bullet and get them done…..maybe.
